Our Story
A daily Sangat practice — one Panktee, one word, every day.
How It Began
It started with a question many of us quietly carry: do we really understand what we read in Gurbani?
In 2023, that question turned into a small experiment — what if we picked just one Panktee a day, found the one word that was hardest to understand, and learned its meaning together? No prior knowledge needed, no long study sessions, no fee.
A few years on, that small daily habit has grown into a Sadh Sangat of 12,000+ learners across Instagram, WhatsApp, YouTube and the blog — with structured journeys through Salok Mahalla 9, Twaprasad Swaiyye, Sukhmani Sahib, Japji Sahib and more.
“Fall in Love with Gurbani, One Word at a Time.”
That is still the heart of what we do. Every Panktee carries a depth that can transform an entire day — and the easiest way in is often just one word.
Why We Do This
Three principles that shape every series, every video, and every poster we put out.
No prior Punjabi, Gurmukhi or theology needed. Plain English meanings in short, daily lessons that fit into any routine.
From children to elders — videos, flipcards, quizzes and posters meet you where you are, in the format that suits you.
No fees, no ads, no premium tier. Everything we create is shared freely — the Sangat is the only sponsor we need.

Behind the Initiative
365 Gurbani Words began as one Sangat member’s quiet practice in 2023 — and grew with the Sadh Sangat. Today we’re a small, Sangat-driven group, working in our spare time to make Gurbani more accessible, one word at a time.
We don’t accept advertising. We don’t run paid memberships. We don’t sell content. Everything we create is free and always will be — funded by our own time, occasional contributions toward hosting, and the kindness of partners who share our intention.
This website itself was designed and built by Vismaad Creatives, a Sangat-run small business in the UK. The Gurbani Words digital frames you may see in Gurdwara Sahibs are coordinated through volunteers and trusted partners — never as a commercial venture.
Above all, we owe this to the Sadh Sangat — for every share, every kind word, every “please don’t stop.” You are the reason this continues.
Start with just one word today — and see where the journey takes you. 🙏
