ਆਦਿ ਪੁਰਖਿ ਇਕੁ ਚਲਤੁ ਦਿਖਾਇਆ ਜਹ ਦੇਖਾ ਤਹ ਸੋਈ ॥

The Primal Being (Vaheguru) has revealed this wonder to me; that wherever I look, there I see Him.

ਆਦਿ ਅੰਤਿ ਮਧਿ ਨਾਨਕ ਕਉ ਸੋ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਹੋਆ ਬੇਲੀ ॥

In the beginning, in the end, and in the middle too, Vaheguru is Nanak's best friend.
