ਬਿਖੁ ਕੀ ਕਾਰ ਕਮਾਵਣੀ ਬਿਖੁ ਹੀ ਮਾਹਿ ਸਮਾਹਿ ॥
Working in corrupt ways, people sink in evil.
ਸਤਿਗੁਰੁ ਆਖੈ ਕਾਰ ਸੁ ਕਾਰ ਕਮਾਈਐ ॥
The work which the True Guru asks you to do, do that work.
ਗੋਬਿਦ ਕੀ ਐਸੀ ਕਾਰ ਕਮਾਇ ॥ ਜੋ ਕਿਛੁ ਕਰੇ ਸੁ ਸਤਿ ਕਰਿ ਮਾਨਹੁ ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਨਾਮਿ ਰਹਹੁ ਲਿਵ ਲਾਇ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
This is the way to serve Vaheguru. Whatever He does, accept that as true. As Gurmukh, stay lovingly absorbed in His Name. ||1||Pause||
ਜੋ ਤੁਧੁ ਭਾਵੈ ਸਾਈ ਭਲੀ ਕਾਰ ॥
Whatever pleases You (Vaheguru), is the only good work.
ਮਨਮੁਖ ਹੀਅਰਾ ਅਤਿ ਕਠੋਰੁ ਹੈ ਤਿਨ ਅੰਤਰਿ ਕਾਰ ਕਰੀਠਾ ॥ ਬਿਸੀਅਰ ਕਉ ਬਹੁ ਦੂਧੁ ਪੀਆਈਐ ਬਿਖੁ ਨਿਕਸੈ ਫੋਲਿ ਫੁਲੀਠਾ ॥੩॥
The hearts of the manmukhs are hard (cruel); their inner beings are pitch dark. Even if a poisonous snake is fed large amounts of milk, only poison will come out of it. -- (same page but different colour feel free to create a separate page for the below line if you find it easier) --
ਤਾਤੀ ਵਾਉ ਨ ਲਗਈ ਪਾਰਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਸਰਣਾਈ ॥ ਚਉਗਿਰਦ ਹਮਾਰੈ ਰਾਮ ਕਾਰ ਦੁਖੁ ਲਗੈ ਨ ਭਾਈ ॥੧॥
The hot wind (problems) does not even touch one who is under the Protection of Vaheguru. On all four sides I am surrounded by Vaheguru's Circle of Protection; pain does not afflict me, O Siblings.
