ਜਿਨ ਕੇ ਚਿਤ ਕਠੋਰ ਹਹਿ ਸਿ ਬਹਹਿ ਨ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਪਾਸਿ ॥

Those of hearts as hard as stone, do not sit near the True Guru.

ਰਤੇ ਇਸਕ ਖੁਦਾਇ ਰੰਗਿ ਦੀਦਾਰ ਕੇ ॥

Those who are immersed with love for Vaheguru, are delighted by the sight of Him.

ਕਰਮੀ ਆਪੋ ਆਪਣੀ ਕੇ ਨੇੜੈ ਕੇ ਦੂਰਿ ॥

According to their actions, some are drawn closer, and some are driven farther away (from Vaheguru).

ਜੇ ਤਿਸੁ ਨਦਰਿ ਨ ਆਵਈ ਤ ਵਾਤ ਨ ਪੁਛੈ ਕੇ ॥

If Vaheguru does not bless with His Glance of Grace, then it is like being a person for whom anyone doesn’t care.
