ਇਸੁ ਕਾਇਆ ਅੰਦਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਨਉ ਨਿਧਿ ਪਾਈਐ ਗੁਰ ਕੈ ਸਬਦਿ ਵੀਚਾਰਾ ॥

Within this body are the nine treasures of the Naam; they are attained through contemplating on the Guru's Shabad.

ਗੁਨ ਕੀਰਤਿ ਨਿਧਿ ਮੋਰੀ ॥

To sing the Kirtan of Vaheguru’s Praises is my treasure.

ਜਿਸੁ ਆਇਆ ਹਥਿ ਨਿਧਾਨੁ ਸੁ ਰਹਿਆ ਭਾਲਣੋ ॥

One, into whose hands the treasure (of Naam) comes, stops searching (for worldly pleasures).

ਅਗਨਿ ਮਰੈ ਜਲੁ ਲੋੜਿ ਲਹੁ ਵਿਣੁ ਗੁਰ ਨਿਧਿ ਜਲੁ ਨਾਹਿ ॥

If you wish to put out the fire (of desires), then look for water; without the Guru, the ocean of water is not found.
