ਤੀਨਿ ਗੁਣਾ ਕੈ ਸੰਗਿ ਰਚਿ ਰਸੇ ॥ ਇਨ ਕਉ ਛੋਡਿ ਊਪਰਿ ਜਨ ਬਸੇ ॥੩॥

The worldly people are enjoying the three qualities. Renouncing these three states, Vaheguru's humble servants rise above them. ||3||

ਤਿਸੁ ਊਪਰਿ ਮਨ ਕਰਿ ਤੂੰ ਆਸਾ ॥

O my mind, keep your hopes on Vaheguru.

ਤਾ ਕੀ ਸਰਨਿ ਪਰਿਓ ਨਾਨਕ ਦਾਸੁ ਜਾ ਤੇ ਊਪਰਿ ਕੋ ਨਾਹੀ ॥

Servant Nanak has entered Vaheguru’s Sanctuary; there is no one above Him.
