Today’s word is ਪਿਆਰੁ Pyaar

I am sure you have heard this word. But say it with me: Pyaaar Pyaar means Love. Now the purpose of our lives is to develop immense love for Vaheguru but often we find people in our lives who have no intention of connecting with Vaheguru and rather they might be making it harder for our souls to feel Vaheguru’s presence in our lives. For them, referred to as Manmukhs, Guru Jee say:

ਨਾਨਕ ਮਨਮੁਖਾ ਨਾਲੋ ਤੁਟੀ ਭਲੀ ਜਿਨ ਮਾਇਆ ਮੋਹ ਪਿਆਰੁ ॥

O Nanak, it is better to break away from the manmukhs, who have love and attachment to Maaya (worldly things). Now, one who realises the aim of life, you know what kind of Pyaar do they feel?

ਅੰਤਰਿ ਪਿਰੀ ਪਿਆਰੁ ਕਿਉ ਪਿਰ ਬਿਨੁ ਜੀਵੀਐ ਰਾਮ ॥
