One who speaks tasteless words with his tongue, is ruined, again and again.

ਰਸਨਾ ਰਾਮ ਕੋ ਜਸੁ ਗਾਉ ॥

O my tongue, sing the Praises of Vaheguru.

ਮਹਾ ਕਸਟ ਕਾਟੈ ਖਿਨ ਭੀਤਰਿ ਰਸਨਾ ਨਾਮੁ ਚਿਤਾਰੇ ॥

Vaheguru removes the most terrible pains in an instant, if the tongue recites His Name.

ਸਾ ਰਸਨਾ ਧਨੁ ਧੰਨੁ ਹੈ ਮੇਰੀ ਜਿੰਦੁੜੀਏ ਗੁਣ ਗਾਵੈ ਹਰਿ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਕੇਰੇ ਰਾਮ ॥

Blessed, blessed is that tongue, O my soul, which sings the Praises of Vaheguru.
