Wondrous is the air; wondrous is the water. Wondrous is the fire playing its astonishing game. Wondrous is the earth; wondrous are the sources of creation. Wondrous are the tastes to which the living beings are attached. Wondrous is union; wondrous is separation. Wondrous is hunger; wondrous is satisfaction. Wondrous is His Praise; wondrous is His Glory. Wondrous is (getting lost in) wilderness; wondrous are the paths (that lead to destination). Wondrous is closeness; wondrous is distance. Wondrous is seeing the Ever-Present Vaheguru close to us. Beholding the wonders of Vaheguru, I am filled with wonder. O Nanak, those who understand (these wonders) are perfectly fortunate. ||1||
