ਪਾਰਬ੍ਰਹਮੁ ਹੋਆ ਸਹਾਈ ਕਥਾ ਕੀਰਤਨੁ ਸੁਖਦਾਈ ॥ ਗੁਰ ਪੂਰੇ ਕੀ ਬਾਣੀ ਜਪਿ ਅਨਦੁ ਕਰਹੁ ਨਿਤ ਪ੍ਰਾਣੀ ॥
Vaheguru has become my Support; His Katha and Keertan have brought me peace. Recite the Perfect Guru's Baani, and live forever in bliss, O mortal.

ਪਾਰਬ੍ਰਹਮ

ਮੈ ਧਰ ਤੇਰੀ ਪਾਰਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਤੇਰੈ ਤਾਣਿ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
I lean upon You as my Support, O Vaheguru. I live only by Your Power.
ਗੁਰੁ ਪਰਮੇਸਰੁ ਪਾਰਬ੍ਰਹਮੁ ਗੁਰੁ ਡੁਬਦਾ ਲਏ ਤਰਾਇ ॥
The Guru is Supreme and Limitless. The Guru lifts up and saves those who are drowning.
ਪਾਰਬ੍ਰਹਮੁ ਹੋਆ ਸਹਾਈ ਕਥਾ ਕੀਰਤਨੁ ਸੁਖਦਾਈ ॥
Vaheguru has become my Support; His Katha and Keertan have brought me peace.
ਜਾ ਕਉ ਚਿੰਤਾ ਬਹੁਤੁ ਬਹੁਤੁ ਦੇਹੀ ਵਿਆਪੈ ਰੋਗੁ ॥
When you are troubled by excessive anxiety, and bodily diseases;
ਗ੍ਰਿਸਤਿ ਕੁਟੰਬਿ ਪਲੇਟਿਆ ਕਦੇ ਹਰਖੁ ਕਦੇ ਸੋਗੁ ॥
when you are entangled in the household, sometimes feeling joy, and then other times sorrow;
ਗਉਣੁ ਕਰੇ ਚਹੁ ਕੁੰਟ ਕਾ ਘੜੀ ਨ ਬੈਸਣੁ ਸੋਇ ॥
when you are wandering around in all four directions, and you cannot sit or sleep even for a moment
ਚਿਤਿ ਆਵੈ ਓਸੁ ਪਾਰਬ੍ਰਹਮੁ ਤਨੁ ਮਨੁ ਸੀਤਲੁ ਹੋਇ ॥੩॥
if you were to remember the Supreme Being, then your body and mind shall be cooled and soothed.
ਇਕੁ ਪਛਾਣੂ ਜੀਅ ਕਾ ਇਕੋ ਰਖਣਹਾਰੁ ॥
The One is the Knower of all beings; He alone is our Saviour.
ਇਕਸ ਕਾ ਮਨਿ ਆਸਰਾ ਇਕੋ ਪ੍ਰਾਣ ਅਧਾਰੁ ॥
That One alone is the Support of the mind; the One is the Support of the breath of life.
ਤਿਸੁ ਸਰਣਾਈ ਸਦਾ ਸੁਖੁ ਪਾਰਬ੍ਰਹਮੁ ਕਰਤਾਰੁ ॥੧॥
In His Shelter, there is lasting peace. He is the Supreme, the Creator - Vaheguru.
